Masking Tape Resist (technique 11)

Card from the "52 pick-up" class I'm taking at bigpicturescrapbooking.com. Assignment was to create a background pattern using masking tape as a paint resist. I did multiple layers, adding some tape, painting, letting it dry, adding more tape, painting again and so forth. After the last layer was dry I pulled off all of the tape, I didn’t like how the really contrasting colors I used ended up looking, so I applied a copper glaze over it all. I embellished this card with a load of rub-ons and glitter.
