These are pictures of my dd Cassie during Parents' Day in her Level 5 Tap & Ballet class October 17, 2006.

This LO is for a few challenges:

Febuly Week 6: Nickelback -- Find a song and incorporate it into your LO by using the title of the song as your actual title in the LO and using part of the lyrics somehow in your journaling. Include something music related on your LO. Also, you may not use any patterned paper unless it is related to music in some way (music notes, sheet music, etc.). -- The song I chose is Ballerina Girl by Lionel Ritchie, and I used some of the lyrics as my journaling: "Ballerina girl, you are so lovely. With you standing there, I'm so aware of how much I care for you." I used treble clef clips and the actual sheet music for my song in the LO.

The April Colour Challenge: The majority of the layout has to be blue, with at least 3 shades of blue on show. You can use any other accent colours that you wish but it must have as much blue as possible. -- I think I covered that!! Blue bg, blue suede paper, blue flowers, blue inks, blue writing, blue printing on the vellum -- oh, and of course, my dd's blue leotard!

The April Got to Love Those Flowers Challenge: This month you have to have flowers in color, no black or just white. The flowers can't be in the pp, you have to add them! This Month's Twist~~Leaves and not in the pp. -- I have 15 stacked flowers, more if you count them individually, and I did the twist: the silver leaves on the center flowers and the olive leaf ribbon.

The April Bring the Bling Challenge: I added gem centers to the flowers and used gem flourishes. Also, the leaves on the large flowers are metallic silver.

Also, the VLB Challenge!

TFL!!!
