Fantastic LO!!! I love how you always fit multiple photos on your LO's and it always looks so balanced and not overcrowded!!! Your title is perect, I can't believe you cut it by hand! And I'm begining to think you do the best journaling ever!!! Writing a note to the baby when he was first born has to be one of the best ideas I've ever heard - I wish I would have thought of that myself when I had my two little girls!!! Great LO! Into faves for me!
You did a great job with the stamping, and I LOVE the idea of everyone writing a note to the baby! These will be sentiments to be cherished as he gets older. What a fabulous idea!
You have done a fantastic lo here! I don't know why you sell yourself short! It is so touching, and so heartfelt, and the journalling is fabulous! Sometimes its important to remind yourself that you are doing this for your baby, and not so that everyone on here can read your writing!! Love the combination of photos, and the huge welcome is completely appropriate!
Nice design, the letters to baby is a very cute idea. Good job on the letters, I started out that way and know the challenge. I have since gone Cricut and there's no going back :)
Aww, what a precious layout. I love every aspect of this design, which has four pictures of basically the same size (something I run into with my layouts a lot). Good job!
This was the night we brought our son home from the hospital. We went to my parents' house where everyone wrangled for a chance to hold the new baby. I asked each person there to write a short note to the baby. The notes are pasted onto a large jounaling block underneath the photos. There is a small tab on the upper left that says "Pull." I think the tab is hard to read here.
This was my very first time to try stamping. I was so nervous! Esp to stamp directly on the layout.
I don't have a die cut machine, so I handcut the word "welcome." It took me a few tries. After I uploaded this layout, I realized just how large the word welcome turned out. Funny how you don't notice that when you are working with it so closely. Hmm, maybe I should have named this - the big welcome - instead! The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey lucky kit, which I received as a gift from the superstore here. :-) I inked the edges of the paper. This was my first time to try that too. I am learning from all of you!
There is some brief journaling written sideways on the Rt, but it looks blurry here. Not sure why. It is clear in real life. I have a hard time making my layouts look OK when I upload them. The contrast on the photos always looks awful....
