Beautiful. I think these types of trips are really hard to scrap, but you came through, as always. I love the large mats beneath the photos. I love all the little touches, like the strip of ribbon in the big G adn the cute tags.
What a lovely house and LO. I like that you used non-traditional holiday colors since the house was decorated for Christmas. It helps to tell the story. Nice work!
What a fun trip that must have been! I remember going to a big old mansion in NC at Christmas time, what fun to see how all the different trees are done up for Christmas!! Wonderful layout. How awesome that you got a private tour!!!
Beautiful- the pics and the pages!! Great design- love the big squares of pp! The handcut swirls are so pretty! Love the title lettering, and all the buttons and journaling tags! To my faves!
Journaling reads: "Brookfield Plantation was built in the 1800's. We were lucky enough to get a private tour of it... all decked out for Christmas! The house was just gorgeous, a tree in every room. The whole house has been beautifully restored and furnished with period pieces. Our friend, Lynette, took us on the tour. Brookfield is currently owned by her brother as a private residence. In previous years, it was also used for weddings and a bed & breakfast, and originally a plantation home." December 2006
The larger letters and all of the swirls are handcut, inked and doodled. Smaller letters are stickers. TFL!!
