This is a scraplift of Mojosmaddy's lo "E is for Evadine" http://www.scrapbook.com/myplace/index.php?mod=galleries&u=215463#comments

I used a pic of me as a toddler. I used texture plates to emboss the green pp and used that to mat the pic. I then used the pink pp to mat the matted pic and used an Anna Griffin corner punch on that mat, then aded the 3rd mat and inked the edges.

For the background, I used a piece of navy cs, then used a piece of pp across the page...I bordered that with the pink/white striped ribbon.

I used a chipboard "J" and covered it with the same green paper I used to mat the pic, I didn't emboss it with the dots, though. I then punched a hole in the alpha, using my cropadile and adhered the letter to the lo with a decorative brad...adding the last bit of the pink/white striped ribbon that I had left.

For the journaling block, I used a premade jounaling block and fussy cut it from it's page. I added the year to the bottom with rubons. The block had "Today" at the top, so I took a piece of the green paper and used it to cover that word. I used rubons to add my name to that block and lightly traced around the block with a black pen to tie it into the look of the rest of the block. I used the same pen to do the journaling. I matted the journaling block onto the green paper and trimmed around to give a very thin mat. Then I matted that onto the pink pp and trimmed it to be a slightly wider mat. Then I inked around the pink pp with pink ink and adhered the block to the page.

Thanks for the inspiration, Kristi!
