Most of the painted items in my scrap space are also sprayed black. Your particular paint might of not had a type of sealer in it, causing it stay sticky. You can however go back and add a clear, coat sealer to what you've already painted. I don't think it costs alot. I believe it's only a couple of dollars and you might only need 1 can, depending on the size of your desk. If not, plan b, you could get a clear piece of plastic or acrylic to add as a clear, see-through mat/pad. Hope That Helps! ;)

TFL. I love my table. I spray painted it and it got all sticky on the top. I guess there was some drying issue. Everything sticks to it but I love it.

Paper Storage

I keep my 12x12 paper in this part of my corner. I keep most of my paper in the black binders. I keep my 8x11 paper in the black paper holder. I keep paper that I need to put away or packaged paper in between the binder and paper file because I have no more room for paper. I have my stacks and chipboard in the acrylic holder. I store things under my table too.
