Oh, Jackie, how nice that you scrapped this photo!!! Bet it does bring back some wicked memories - LOL!! Love the gorgeous, gorgeous papers and what a absolutely fabulous design!!! Would love to to lift this design! Fave!
O...M...G..!!! I just looked at ALL of your gallery for the first time...wow! You are so very talented. Your Lo's amaze me....!!! Into my fav's you go...
What a nice story and pretty layout. I recently had a car towed away that I had since 1992 and bought brand new too. I plan to scrapbook my "goodbye" of that moment soon. It was hard to see it go, but it was time.
It is so much fun for all of us because as you complete these pages for your BOM album, we get to know a little more about your interesting life! You are a strong woman who has obviously worked hard to earn independence and you've set a good example for your kids. I hope it doesn't sound patronizing to say your sisters here are proud of you!! Love your pages, Jackie!
Good thing cars can't talk! You've mastered the swirls I see. And you were one hot mama! Congrats on the doctor son! Good for supporting you in your old age! LOL!
I actually might be able to copy this one...and I ask the same question as below....what are Swirlydoos? Love that idea of a stamp with liquid pearls...and congratulations on achieving independence!
Where do you get the liquid pearls? They are so very pretty and I would like to get that, but don't know where to get it from. I love your lo, and the story that goes with it. You sure were one determined woman!
you are so good at mixing your papers. I would be terrified if this is what I got in a kit. I love the story that goes with this one. I just ordered those Autumn leaves clear stamps over the net, can't wait to lay my hands on them...
I won't go into the sordid details of my past that make this car such a significant mile stone in my life. Suffice it to say that it is the first car I financed on my own, without a co-signer, and paid for entirely by myself, and it is the only car I have ever had that was brand spankin' new! The pic was taken in the parking lot following my son Ben's HS graduation, which is also significant since he now owns this car as he finishes up his PhD.
I used the Aug. Swirlydoos sketch by the gifted Beggahuna, along with more of my haphazard swirls using my altered version of the Swirlydoos tutorial. The small corner swirl is a stamp to which I added liquid pearls. The flowers are prima.
