The photos you did get of his tiny fingers and toes are incredible. Boy was he ever tiny. Those pictures of him with the ring are amazing. Like the use of the rulers all over this of course. Great idea.
Using the ruler/measuring tape was such an inspired choice for this, since that seems to be what it's all about in NICU - every cm, every ounce. So glad to hear that he's doing so well!!
Oh my goodness, look at all those tiny, tiny precious fingers and toes. I love that you put the ring in the photos to show just how tiny he is. Great layout!
Wow!! This is a very touching page!! Wish I would have thought to do something like this when my son was born, but 31 years ago we were to worried to think about doing anything like this. :)
I love all the things.. rings and such taken with him. It really gives you an idea of how tiny he was!! Poor little peanut!! He is so adorable.. then and now!! :D
This is for the August Doodle Challenge with the optional twist to doodle stitching. I did x's, dashes and dots on the little circles on the right page. This is also for the August I Challenge You (to use six or more photos), and the August 2 Page Layout challenge.
The ruler down the left page is a clear, plastic ruler with yellow paper under it.
This layout is of my nephew when he was in the NICU after being born prematurely. We tried to keep up with taking photos of things next to him to really show his size, like his dad's wedding ring, but some times there were other things on our minds. (He was one year old July 31, 2009, and is doing wonderfully.)
