Stunning page, and so heartfelt. I know that every baby is a blessing, but it seems that this little chap has really touched everyone's heart - beautiful lo Mel.
That top picture nearly gives me heart failure. I have a 7month old myself and I hate to think of any infant in that kind of distress. You did a great job scrapping this and recording his progress. Very nice journaling. Great page.
This is such a sweet layout! I love the photos and how you placed your journaling! I hope he continues to do well - Bless his little heart...he is so beautiful!!!!!
GDCG: Oh wow! I can see why it took you so long, what a hard thing to journalin about and what a scary time for you and your family. Critique wise: I think this is beautiful and wonderful just the way it is. It is a busy LO, but there is a lot going on at the time, so I think the LO really symbolizes that! I love that super cool border!
Awww....he is so precious!!! This is truly a great lo! The photos just tug at your heart strings and the journaling is touching! Hugs and prayers to him and his family!
GDCG: Gosh, I have to admit that I researched your grandson's condition and I, too, cried and was very shaken up. Your LO receives the highest honour because it is quintessentially what scrapbooking is all about.
GDCG: I turely feel for your family, you have my best wishes and prayers. The lo is not too busy at all. I'd say you did a fantastic job with your circle/square theme. The sparkly heart in the journaling is a perfect touch.
GDCG....no critique is needed when you witness first hand a layout from the Heart...created with love and sharing a touching moment in one's life. But with that said, it is an incredible page...thanks for sharing such a personal event from your family!
GDCG : glad he's doing better...I love the heart sticker in the journaling, i think it added a nice touch. All the circles were great to play off the square photos. Nice job!
GDCG: love your use of the tiddly winks...had to look this up since when I was in nursing school I held a baby with anencephaly...and honestly I was very glad it wasn't similiar to that. Keep us updated!!
This is a lo that took me seven months to complete. My first grandbaby Rafe was born in March with a very very rare brain disorder. The top pic is of him the day after he was born, after he had his first seizure. Considering everything, he is doing remarkably well now, at 7 months old. Now about the lo...the heaven sent are metal words by Making Memories, the border in the middle of the page is by Anna Griffen, the different colored circles are "tiddly winks" from an old game.....This is a loosly interpreted sketch from PageMaps. I entered it in the No Patterned Paper allowed challenge.
