OMG! This totally reminds me of a naked guy in some of my pictures! Long story...But I turned in some pics to get developed at a Smiths store in Las Vegas. I was on travel. My dh showed up to visit his mom (she lives in Vegas) and went to the same store and was buying some film when the lady recognised him from the pics and said his film was done. He said "I didn't drop off any film" and she said "Oh yes, It's you allright" Well I had taken some pictures of some big horn sheep and he was eager to see the pics. He took them to his moms house and he had totally forgotten about the naked guy we know from the hot ponds, And had to ditch the rest of the pics while showing them to his mom. I might have to scrap that! Thanks for the memory!
Another great LO - really like how you grouped the pictures and the earthy tones to it. And the story is really neat. Naked Ed is not the only person who appreciates your using an old pizza circle - I'm impressed!
Remember how he signs his name? Nak'Ed. If you want you can add the blog link to our adventures... I have a link to the news story about him on it. http://retrojulie.blogspot.com/2009/07/i-blame-water.html Your LO is wonderful! I would have never imagined you could have scrapped the Naked Ed pics... but you did! You're so creative!
This is wonderful! I love the cardboard and what you've done with the leafs/stem. I remember seeing some pics of Naked Ed that Julie had. You guys have so much fun!
i must admit, your title caught my eye and had my imagination in overdrive before I read the story. LOL. what a wonderful lo - love the recycled pizza cardboard.
I must admit my first thought after reading your description was..I'm glad you only got a photo waste up! too early in the morning here for that kind of thing! LOL. great layout, love the colours & the way you used the pizza box!
What a greate story. love the LO and the use of the pizzacardboard, very smart. He seems to be real original and very free spirited. Stories like that should be told and what better way than with scrapbooking? The only thing I am missing is the story on the layout.
The story of Naked Ed is on the back of my lo.These pics were taken by Retrojulie as we went canoeing down the Santa Fe River this past summer. In brief,Naked Ed is a local celebrity that with community support went all the way to the Florida Supreme court to win his battle on staying on land that was not his.He is a nudist, modest and humble. He entertains campers, kayakers and canoers with his hospitality and lonesome dove type lifestyle. He never wanted fame, nor have a beer named after him.He did not seek out to be written about in the papers nor ask to be on a global network. He is truely a free-spirit and has a cult-like fan base.I met him many years ago and every time I go down the river I stop by to say hello.
Naked Ed would appreciate my using an old pizza circle made of corregated cardboard and that I kept the lo natural in its overall feel.
