This is for the Scraplift 101 Challenge. The picture of my daughter Hunter was taken at my inlaws' house in the country. Hunter asked to go outside while the grown-ups were gabbing away. When I went outside to check on her, she was sitting in this old swing and told me she was enjoying the peace and quiet.
The green ribbon was from my fabulous secret sister. The flowers were from Michaels and were onsale for less than a dollar per spray (yeah!). The bird was cut out using my Silhouette.
I tried burning the paper and did burn some of the edges. However, the smell of the dies in the paper was absolutely HORRENDOUS and who knows what carcinogens I was inhaling. So, finally, I gave up and tore/distress inked the other parts of the paper that I wanted to look burned.
