Those buses sound like a great way to see the city, and I think the way that you selected your sites first was a great way to make sure you saw what you most wanted to. Like that you've also included the "Italy" sign and the tickets.

The mat under "Italy" is silver - not blue. It reflected the blue in the sky when the picture was taken outside. The letters "Italy" are also set on a silver outline of the letters which looks blue.

We were delighted to find the “CitySightseeing” double-decker buses, which are the Hop-On Hop-Off buses. No matter where we have been, anywhere in the world, they have excellent sound systems and narrations. You are given earpieces which plug into the audio system and you press the button for the language of your choice. We have consistently had good easy-to-understand narrations with this company.

We always go upstairs because the open top deck of the buses offer the best shots for some of our travel photos! Also the best views!

On the Hop-On Hop-Off buses you buy a 24 hour ticket and ride all you want. When you want to see something, stop to eat, or just walk around you get off the bus and then present your ticket (its date and time stamped) to get back on another bus to continue on the loop. They have marked bus stops and they usually run every 10-15 minutes in most cities. Just wait for another big red double-decker bus to come by.

There were 3 different tours and the purchase of one ticket covered all 3 of them. The tickets were 22 Euros or $33.00 American each.

We purchased our tickets and rode the first line for 45 minutes around the city. Then we rode it again, hopping off in several places to see things and then hopping back on.

The next day, Friday the 16th we started the morning with the longest line of the three (The one that went around the coastline) and after riding it completely once, we knew what we wanted to see so we rode it again, hopping on and off at various places.

In the afternoon we took the last tour (Historical buildings) all the way around and then took it again, hopping off and on to get a closer look at different things that piqued our interest.

After spending our first two days seeing Naples from the double-decker buses, we decided to spend the last two days just strolling around at our own pace.

The statue on the bottom of this page was taken from the tour bus. I have no idea what it is and have not been able to identify it.
