This layout was done for Week 4 of MelissaW's Round Robin Challenge. I had to lift Iuplori's Dance Then Wherever You May Be. I flipped her layout to better fit my photos which were vertically, rather than horizontally, formatted.
The "journaling" on this layout is actually just the definition of recalcitrant, which often fits Hunter exactly. It says:

Etymology: Late Latin recalcitrant-, recalictrans,
present participle of recalictrare to be
stubbornly disobedient, from Latin, to kick back,
1: obstinately defiant of authority or restraint
2: difficult to manage or operate, resistant

There are times when Hunter is a complete ham and seems to ask me constantly to take her picture, and THEN there are times where she just does NOT want her picture made and will NOT cooperate - no matter what. This was one of those times. In all fairness, she smiled and posed beautifully for quite a few shots and then just got tired of the whole thing.
the Sassafras paper and alpha letters are from a recent gift sent by my secret sister. The crochet flowers are from the GCD Studios Melody Ross Collection.
