I'm so sorry for your loss, and these LO's are a great memorial to Ben. As far as photographing your LO's, do you take them outside? I find a slightly cloudy day is the best, and I usually do mine on our deck. If it's winter, I lay my layouts by a window where good light is coming in so I still don't have to use my flash.
So beautiful and this will be such a wonderful keepsake for you! We've been taking extra pics of our Newton lately because we know he doesn't have a whole lot of time left before he gets to see his late "brother" Elmo again..pets really are family...love your pet layouts!
He was such a beautiful boy and I love his sweet expression in this photo. It sounds like you had a wonderful life together. They truly do leave such a huge hole in our hearts and lives when they go. Ben can chase squirrels with my sweet boy, Lucky.
This is my dear friend, Benjamin who is now chasing squirrels in the big dog park in the sky. I'm ready to do the album now to remember all the happy times we had together. The corrugated cardboard is the reverse side of a cup holder from a well known coffee house - we used to walk there and I would have a coffee and Ben would have water from one of their plastic cups! The red tissue paper is from some beautiful flowers that were given to me. The colors of the LO are much better in RL but I"m not good at photographing the LOs - any tips would be very much appreciated.
