A layout created as an illustration to accompany a short story about my two four-legged children of whom I have very few pictures. This is the left half of a double page spread. (The slot machine in the photo is a tiny toy that DH acquired as a child back in the late 1950's. Here we are 50+ years later, and it still works--pull the handle and the dials still rotate! (The bagels were all cut out and glued on in place of the winning line-up of fruit and to illustrate the winning payout.)
