Wow!! Thank you everyone for your comments!! I just posted this today and I come home to 17 comments!!! Way to make my day! And thanks for reading the journaling...this one really made me tear up!!!!!!
what beautiful journaling. Time does go fast!!! I really like that "playful you" at the bottom and the papers are perfect. I like that it isn't too girly, but if this were published anyone could use it for just about any title/milestone! Those title letters are amazing and how you made the ribbons like corners, awesome!! We have a winner!

Photo is from my daughter, Colleen's first day of Kindergarten, Sept 2005
I made the journaling folder with the Basic Grey Notch Tool. Journaling is printed on Bazzill white card stock and "doodling" of hearts and my signature are done with ZIG pure brown marker
Journaling reads, "My dear sweet Colleen, it was only moments ago that I was gently blowing on your sweet cheeks to wake you to breastfeed and now here you are going off to your first day of Kindergarten. I am so proud of you! Last year was a difficult year. We moved to a new state, new school, and then Mommy got sick. I was in the hospital for 6 weeks and Grandma and Grandpa moved in with us for 5 months. Every day I longed for you to climb up into my hospital bed; adjust it; and tell me all the details about your day. I watched how excited you were to put together the sounds you learned and discover the words they made. You loved sharing all the details about the discoveries you and your friends made. Now this year, I am blessed to be with you while you discover and watch you interact with your friends. The other day, I overheard some of your friends discussing if God was everywhere. One little boy said, “Let’s ask Colleen.” They turned to you and posed the question, “Colleen, is God everywhere?” I watched as you straightened up your shoulders and paused for a moment. Then you turned and said confidently, “Yes, God is everywhere.” Oh how I know that is true!
