SHCG - How did I miss critiquing this?? Oh well. Another fab Bombay page, so sweet of you to scrap. You've gotten good suggestions so far. I like Denitza's ideas of adding the description you have here (love it) somewhere, even if on the back. And I like Lisa's arrow idea - you could have it pointing from the top pic to the bottom, it would be a cool thing to tie those 2 together. What a great (& AGILE) cat Bombay was!
SHCG: That is one brave cat!! I really like the pattern paper and the cut out letters. This would be a great page to incorporate that ever popular giant chipboard arrow. An arrow would link the two photos and carry your eye across the page... maybe next time....
SHCG: What a cute lo, great response to the challenge :) I like how you spread the title on both pictures. I like Brenda's idea of putting paw prints on the page and D's idea to put the description as your journaling!
SHCG: Such a cool memory! I think you should put the description from here on the page! I think the lo is very nice! I would move the " candid kitty" a little down! Love the white around the photos!
SHCG: Such a cute shot of kitty on the roof and great idea for a page about Bombay's lively antics. I think you definitely met Marlene's challenge. I feel you already have enough phrases going on, so I'd replace the cool cat heart with a blue arrow or pawprints that complement the lovely burnt orange hues of your page and come down from the candid kitty circle to the tiny kitty on the roof. Also, to the left of that photo I can see you whitewashing some of the bg and adding journaling. Your description would go so well there. Love the cattitude Bombay conveys on this page and how you captured it. I also like the inked mats.
I revisited this LO using suggestions by my Rockin' SHCG! This is a result of the challenge by Marlene in week 6. I had too much negative in the upper right for my taste, so I had to add something.
Bombay, in her younger years, used to amaze us. She would somehow manage to get up on top of the building. We suspect that with her razor sharp claws she climbed up the wood pillars around the place. How she got down...your guess is as good as ours.
Please forgive the bad picture, it was pretty dark when I finished it and direct light on it makes blind spots. I will try to get one with daylight and give a better view...ignore the crooked picture too.
