I so love this!!! Great idea to use all the graduation pictures through the years! Inspires me to do one of my only child! I know those tears very well! FAV!
Holey Moley, Cindy....it's FANTASTIC that you have ALL of his Grad photos over his years of schooling! Now I know that you are not only a meticulous scrapper, but also an incredibly organized person! I can visualize your numbered boxes/albums of photos! I LOVE this page with those 4 photos marking the milestones in Greg's life! And sooo cool that you created a hybrid page with those digi elements! I like how you added little "educational" elements and images! WONDERFUL LO!!!!
What an awesome layout! I love how you scrapped all these graduations through the years! Graduations really are wonderful for both the parent & the graduate!
Now this is what scrapping is all about!!! The memories of all his achievments on one awesome work of art! btw, love the precious pic when he was such a little guy!!!
Congrats to the grad!!!!! I love this 7 gypsies collection - you did a great job with it!!!! Time flies, doesn't it?! I love how you showed him in every graduation ceremony!!!!!! (Brought tears to my eyes thinking of my 16 yr old!)
Oh I so love your concept of this layout...graduation from the first one to the most recent....how kool is that? And I know you are very proud of him as well. You have an awesome design on this too. Wonderful lo!
OMG - GREAT GREAT photos and lo. love that you were able to include all those years on one lo. the best of luck to your ds. it's soooo hard to watch our "babies" grow up.
Every graduation proves to be an emotional experience for the parents. When Greg graduated Kindergarten in 1993, I was still on maternity leave with Chris and recall pictures of me with my "babies" and a tear stained, yet smiling face. Moving Greg to Minnesota brings those same emotions.
I made the background paper for this page by using a digital "canvas" overlay and matching colors to those in the pictures.
Journaling: "Graduations are steps to the next level, a time to begin a new phase in your life. The next step in Greg's life will be even better than those wonderful years he leaves behind." Pictures are from his graduations (clockwise from top) 1993, 2005, 2010 and 2008.
