Having fun at the stables at Disney World. The horses were very friendly!
Journaling: There are many “hidden” Mickeys at Disney World, and plenty of hidden gems. We enjoyed one of them while staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge the day before leaving for our cruise. We took a nature walk and visited the stables and animals at Tri-Cricle-D Ranch in Fort Wilderness. Cute name, huh? It was a gorgeous sunny, but cool February afternoon. The boys really enjoyed this non-theme park activity. We spotted many areas that would be great for planting a letterbox. We saw lots of birds and wildlife. But the most fun was getting cozy with the horses and ponies. A few of them were quite friendly! Big K was getting nuzzled and kissed by all the horses! Patrick was surprised by how soft the horses lips were. Chris and Kevin thought it was funny but didn't want to get that close. I told the boys about my memories of camping at Ft. Wilderness as a kid and how much fun it was. A lot has changed there, but some things remain. Like magic and dreams.
