Our small town cemetery has a revolutionary war hero buried in it. I researched him and found out we have a county named after him and he settled here before being sent on a peace mission with the Indians in which he was killed. The huge marker honors his service. I tried to keep it simple and distressed some flag-like paper and used vellum for the journaling. I thought it would be nice to exhibit the layout in our local county fair.
