This is one of my favorite photos of my DS and DS from when he was just 6 months old. He was just talking to him and I imagined what he might be saying, journaling reads: Dylan, You're so little now, but I know time will go by fast. I can already see you with skinned up knees and calloused hands, holding a magnifying glass and a jar of ants...if you're anything like me. Oh, and I can just see you with your football helmet on! That'll be your 1st love, until your 1st love comes along. And I wish I could spare you, but you'll probably get your heart broke a time or two...if you're anything like me. And I know you might stay out too late and drive your car too fast. And you might do all you can to move on from here, than all do all you can to hurry back...if you're anything like me. But Momma says there's worse folks to be like...so, yeah, I think you'll be alright, if you're anything LIKE ME. The jornaling is adapted from Brad Paisley's song "Anything Like Me" When I showed it to my DH, he actually got tears in his eyes, so I must have got right =-) The pp is all from my new K&Co stack, Life's Journey. Did some distressing and inking, border punch and stamping. I don't normally do much stamping, but I kept seeing these beautiful leaves on Kaye222 and StarSailorScrapper's LOs and I had to have them. This is the 1st time I've used them, and I LOVE them! I made the flowers and the title letters are Thickers Hat Box. Thanks so much for taking a look!
