I to have a simular photo of my Father In Law walking down a street in Toronto, Canada, circa 1948. Wonder if that was a common thing back then to have photographers walking the streets? (Lauph) Love the title! and the clip art guys too!
Great photo of your grandfather; stunning design!!! Love the diagonal filmstrip and curved title; even more, I love how you took these soft, pretty colors and embellies and used them to create such a wonderfully masculine page!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous layout! I love everything about it! Your design is totally fabulous! I love, love the photo of your grandfather - wow! he did look like a movie star! This is such a wonderful way to remember him!!!!
This LO is my entry for round one of the Round Robin challenge over at Swirlydoos. I did the twist, which was to scrap your hero. Here I scrapped my maternal grandfather, who endured a whole lot in his life, and was taken too soon. the photo was taken in approx 1956, the year my grandparents, my mom and her sister moved from the prairies to BC, and he got a job as a bus driver. he was walking down the street one day, and some photographer asked if he could take his picture. I have ALWAYS loved this pic, and am glad i finally scrapped it. I always thought it was like a movie star shot. I made the flower using the TH die, with old prima paper, and it shows up too much in the photo, but used a transparency for the title, to get it lined up perfectly. it doesn't show up as much IRL TFL and for any comments you leave for me :)
