Its amazing how it has changed since this picture - it now two flowers (and a bud on the way) with whole crests of orange and three separate purple 'tongues' - it is one stunning plant!

This exotic creature appeared in our garden room - totally unexpectedly - on Christmas Day! Not my usual sort of Christmas flower (see opposite page in my album) but the previous owners of our house left us three huge plants which they couldnt move - little did I know what this one would produce!
