I love this layout! When my children were young, and into their teens, we went to "the pumpkin farm" every October. They had everything there from the "Giant Talking Pumpkin", to hayrides, their homemade pumpkin bread, cider, and other yummy fall treats. We loved it. Seeing your layout brought back many happy memories. Thanks for sharing it. A beginning scrapper, Joyce (Jedco)
I love all of the distressing, inking, and layers of color. You have captured the feel of fall with your lovely lo and wonderful description. Definitely a childhood memory worthy of this lovely lo.
This is a fantastic pic, Jessica! Beautiful design...your layering is lovely, and the scalloped edges are so pretty! Awesome distressing too! As usual, your journalling/description is eloquent and expressive and a pleasure to read!
what a wonderful memory to preserve! My parents didn't take all that many pics when I was child, so i"m so very grateful for the ones I do have...memories like this are priceless!your distressing and layering are wonderful;they evoke a charming timelessness and warmth(in spite of the cold!)
I love your autumn layout and the story behind it! Your design is absolutely awesome! I really like how you used the Graphic 45 papers here. The photo is such a treasure! TFS!!!!
I would love to be in the U.S. one time during fall/halloween to see all these wonderful pumpkin displays you have around your country. you have done a fabulous job with the tea dye ink....love the look of that paper. great photo, beautifully scrapped. and once again, I have enjoyed reading your journaling.
Each year, on what always felt like the most bone-chilling cold and intensely windy day of the fall, my family would hop in the car and take a short drive to a wonderfully charming fruit stand that was located about an hour away from our house. There, nestled amongst a vast display of pumpkins and seasonal gourds, my mom would snap the annual Bear's Fruit Stand photo as my siblings and I braced ourselves against the cold and tried to give “big smiles” despite our chattering teeth. Excluding things pertaining to holidays, I wouldn't say that there's a lot of yearly traditions that my family had, which makes me extra grateful for this one – and the fact that photos from a couple of those blustery (but always really fun) days are now part of my family photo collection. Should you ever find yourself in Keremeos, B.C. come harvest time, I sincerely recommend a quick stop a Bear's Fruit Stand. The displays that they put up are absolutely wonderful – and certainly make for a great photo op!  ~ Heartfelt thanks for out my page. Any questions about this LO, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a blissfully creative day! ~
