Photos of Yellowstone Lake and Yellowstone River on the day we finally got there...we took 7 days driving and sightseeing to get there. I used a layout in Scrapbooks, etc. April 2009 for my inspiration. I hand embossed the blue cardstock and sanded it to show the pattern better. Journaling: Our first scenic vistas coming through the east entrance were of Yellowstone Lake and Yellowstone River. Devastation from wildfires several years ago is still evident here. We saw our first "steam vent" along the shore of the lake.
