This was a fun little two page LO. The pictures were taken with my phone, so I couldn't enlarge them very much and they aren't all that great. But we had fun that day and so I wanted to commemorate it in a LO.
I found an image of a vinyard on line then resized it to be 12X12. Then I printed 2 copies (one reversed) at 50% opacity to get the dreamy far-away view reminiscent of looking out the stone window at the vinyard The "stone-work" is paper piecing. I then cut out the signs from the Sebasitani web site and "hung" them from the window sill with some silver chain.
My journaling was printed on vellum and then placed on top of the Sebastiani family crest. You can see it much better IRL.
Journaling:In July 2005, the shelties and I enjoyed a FUN DAY a the Sebastiani Winery. We got to watch other dogs running flyball and Rusty got to do a little agility demonstration. Flash, too young to participate, came along for the ride. All the dogs jumped, hollered and performed their tricks. We met some very nice dogs and their people at the Winery. It is so nice that so many of the spectacular wineries in the breath-taking Sonoma Valley are dog-friendly and many, like Sebastiani, have special days just for pooches and their people.
