The socks escape out the dryer vent. You don't see them do it, but almost every wash load, they manage to get out. No one knows where they go, but my theory is that they join sock gangs and terrorize tennis shoes by tying the laces together and throwing them up on the telephone wire... Great LO- thanks for the laughs!

Ah - that will be the black hole in all households - we used to find school reading books would disappear the same way - somewhere in the world is a humongous bin filled with all those odd socks and books! Great fun lo.
