These are the butterflies I made for the Handmade Butterfly swap I am in.
1. I used the Tim Holts Fanciful Flight die. For the body and black overlay of the wings I used distress embossing ink and then used black glitter embossing powder to add a little sparkle, but the powder didn't have as much sparkle and it usually does. The pattern paper is from the provo craft slab xi paper stack.
2. I used my home accent cricut cartridge for this butterfly. The pink I glimmer misted with home made glimmer mist. I used Spun Sugar reinker and blush perfect pearls for the mix. The antennas I used a glitter pen as well for swirls. I added some bling as well.
3. For these I dipped the wings in UTEE so the open parts would have a clear glossy look. I dipped the body as well. This wasn't easy as I had to dip each wing several times to make sue there was no gaps.
