Give a Cheer
These are pics of my bff and her family from July '09.
Journaling: Karen and I have been friends, best friends, for almost 27 years, and I can probably count the pictures I have of her on one hand. That's an exaggeration, of course, but she does only rarely allow people to take her picture. That's why, when I was going through her camera to get some other photos she had taken and I came across these rare pics of her with her whole family, I had to take them too. But there's something else that I love about these photos. If you know Karen, you know that she doesn't like to be close to or have her kids close to any type of drop -- I mean, if one of her kids gets near the open centers of the 2nd floor of the mall, she almost hyperventilates -- so the fact that she's smiling and posing nicely on the edge of the Grand Canyon is hysterical. I can totally see the white knuckle death grip she has on that railing -- and on poor Grace's arm!
I used a Jan '10 PageMap for this LO. I cut the owl with the Storybook cart on my Cricut. The names are written under the bottom photo.
