A couple of photos that i took over the weekend of my dgs, Allen. I used Echo Park's For the Record collection for this layout. The two circles were cut with the EK Success circle cutter. I pierced holes around the edges and then connected the holes with with pens (red & black) to make some faux stitching. The typewriter and title are stickers from the collection. I adhered them to cardstock, then cut them out so that I could pop dot them on the layout. Allen's name is done with alpha stickers from the collection (and they look like typewriter keys from an old typewriter). The two little tags with the date and his age are also stickers from the collection. I cut two strips of paper and to add across the bottom and cut the ends to look like a ribbon. The yellow piece I backed in red cardstock. The black scalloped piece is also a sticker from the collection. Journaling was printed on a piece of the ppr, cut into strips, inked and mounted on black cardstock, then pop-dotted on the layout. Journaling reads:
Grandma: Allen…don’t frown! I want to take your picture. Give me a smile!
Allen: Hmmph!
Grandma: Come on, Allen….just one smile!
Allen: ~still frowning~
Grandma: Allen, how would you look if you had $100 bill in your pocket?
Allen: ~Big Grin~

That boy cracks me up!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
