I buy mine at Staples, but not every Staples stores carries this size...standard size, not slim. It comes with a black insert with the circle thing in the middle. I gently pull apart the cover at the hinge and remove it. Then the black insert can be pulled out. I re-attach the cover and it's good to go. Using the standard size case also allows a second set of dies to fit in the cover portion. It's great for something like "standard circles large and small"..the two sets are side-by-side for easy layering. For larger or longer dies, I use clear DVD cases available at:
http://www.tapeonline.com/products/super-jewel-box-cd-dvd-cases-king-size-one-two-jewel-box
These come without the "hub" in the center.
With both cases I use magnet sheets from:
http://www.orientaltrading.com/awesome-adhesive-magnetic-sheets-a2-57_9500-12-1.fltr?Ntt=magnet sheets
They have the best price and often have free shipping.
ALSO: I use both size cases to store my clear and cling stamps. Same process, no magnet.
Great idea - thanks for the visual - I don't have dies yet - so I didn't understand what you were talking about on the other post. I just purchased the sizzix big shot - waiting for it to get here :)
I never pay full price for Spellbinders...always use my coupons at craft stores. ucutathome.com has a monthly 40% coupon, too. Check the internet for sales.
That's what I'm talking about :) You must have found a really really good sale on all these Spellbinders. I have about 3 sets, that's it. Would love to have many more.
