Nadia always does such amazing sketches and I really love the Once Upon A Sketch blog. Their challenges always push me to include a bit of journaling on my pages too. I often tend to make my pages so detailed that there isn't any space left for journaling, but thanks to their challenges I can keep a few small inches of my pages clean to write a bit of text on;) This layout was made with the current challenge over at Once Upon a Sketch. The layout is pretty emotional...it's about me growing into an adult (well, in fact I officially am one already). This year is a year of changes for me: going to another school, getting to know new people...it's all about closing chapters of my life and opening new ones...and sometimes I wish I'd know what is on the next page of the story that is called my life. This quote by H. Bergson made me realize that you can create your own future and that you shouldn't be afraid of what lies ahead. So that's the message to myself that is behind this layout:)
