ABOVE: Usually we get a room in the same building whenever we are on Pearl Harbor. A nice room with a small patio on the back.
This time they gave us a different style room in a different building. Two walls were lined with windows and plantation shutters. However, this room was not air conditioned so you had to open windows. This was more of a “party” building so we asked to be transferred to our old “quiet” building.
BELOW: We had dinner with our friends Jack and Bernadette in their home. Bernadette always makes spaghetti when we are in Hawaii because they know how much Bills loves it!
Bill had two flowers and put one behind his left ear and one behind my left ear. I am surprised he let me take a picture of him wearing it! At least he got the correct ear – a flower behind the left ear means that the person wearing it is not available.
