My father and grandfather in Rottach, Germany, 1954.

For the two square embellies on the left side, I rolled out some modeling clay, tamped crumpled foil over the surface for texture, used a Quickutz die to "stamp" the Fluer-di-lis and baked. Once it was finished baking, I painted it with Mocha Brown, let it dry, added a coat of black and wiped it off, leaving it in the grooves. I then dry brushed a coat of Territorial Beige ovet the top. Once it was dry I used my gold glimmer mist by ART-C, then I lightly inked over that with Studio G tan.
