Ok, your youngest is so photogenic. This perfect adolescent angst, moodiness and attitude. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this photo. Great monchromatic scheme, perfect choice of pps and love the feathers and floral embellies. Because you kept the colors in browns/creams, it still has a masculine feel to it. Wonderful work as always! :-)
OMG, He looks like my DH when I see him the first time in the morn!!!!!!!!!!!! We just try not to look at each other. Gorgeous LO even under the circumstances. I love tha feathers. He's cute!!
Poor kid! My d/s2 was in that boat too. His older brother got caught at everything, and then of course the domino effect kicked in. Sort of like the Burmuda triangle family style! It's a great guy page though, even if he didn't want to participate!
My goodness you can pick the mothers in the comments, we've all been there. It's a wonderful page of beautiful elements with the soft side and the oh so hard. Love the photo and the feather is like a sign of truce.Lol.
This page is JenGorgeous, with your wonderful colors and even more wonderful details; I love the feather and its softness; even more, I love the dominoes, how very, very appropriate!!!!
I hear ya, mom!!when one of the kids sets us off, it just colours our vision toward everything and everyone, I guess! Been there, done that!Love his expression(that's kind of how i feel when someone's trying to take my picture, actually!!)and you've scrapped it beautifully-lovin' the textures and details!
Love his expression and the events that brought it on! Don't mess with mom-lol! (Jen why do I have such a hard time envisioning you grumpy and irritated?) Beautiful work with all the texture and colors, and the domino with the title-perfect!
In our house it was allso the other way round. I was the oldest and well.....
I truly love this layout. It is stunning. Love the feather and the look on his face tells everything - that is unfair!!!
lovely story....i guess i do the domino effect thing here at my house.....but in my case, my youngest upsets me and my eldest takes the heat. he's to young to understand....lol....but i love them like crazy both....i love your layout....so beautiful...the look on his face....priceless...
I love the layout and have to get a kick out of the description. You got a great photo though. .. and he might even like reading the description. Nice fall feel and I love the feather.
This is a LO of my youngest. At our house we have a little thing that I like to call my domino effect. Oldest child gets me all in a tizzy and then the youngest child ends up paying the price. Unfair I know.
On this particular day two Octobers ago, my photo class assignment was portraitures. I asked my boys if they would pose for me - they both told me no.
I can deal with that. I called my nieces and made plans to take their photos. About an hour before I was heading out to meet my nieces, I got wind that my oldest had gotten caught doing something really really really bad. And I'll let you imagine a whole bunch of teen boy naughtiness.
Well, domino effect was set into motion. Boys! Right NOW! Both of you get in the car. Guess what? I am in a grumpy mood so you are both going to sit really nice for me and get your dang photo taken and enjoy it!
The expression in the photo was all my youngest could muster. Mostly because the domino effect usually claims him as the victim. He had done nothing wrong, and the oldest had gotten in trouble yet he was being forced to get his photo taken.
Ohhhh the world can be so cruel and unfair! A grumpy and irritated mother is NOTHING to mess with. I just love his emotion though.
Thanks Maggi43 for the dominos. and thanks to you for looking.
