I can see where your daughters would be mortified...but I can see how it would completely change the patience level of other drivers. We have a few yrs before our oldest can drive, but I will have to remember this! TFS!
This is the sign I made, laminated, and kept in the car when teaching my daughters how to drive a stick shift. This is what I held outside of my window while they pleaded, "Mom no plllease. Not the sign!" However, having this immediately calmed nerves and squashed all the honking after sitting at a light for the third time in a row or smack dab in the middle of the intersection. The look on the driver's faces went from anger and frustration to understanding, laughter and a thumb ups. Plus, i'm sure somebody did say the much needed prayer too. Yay me!And the guy at the lamination shop was rolling as I got into the passengers side with Melena jerking out backwards from the parking space. Some driver's even offered words of encouragement, after being stuck behind us, as they drove around to pass. God bless your fellow man...and poster board.
