What a funny and precious story. There was an early (before Spanky) Little Rascals episode where one of the kids pushed his baby brother back to the hospital because he didn't want a brother or a sister. Your layout design is wonderful and I love the title and the pram.
OMG - a funny funny story - definitely worthy of a lo. a family treasure that must be preserved and retold. LOVE it - tfs. and your lo is wonderful - love the little baby buggy.
OMGosh Michelle!!!!!!! What a funny story! Nowadays she could have sold him for big $$$$ ! This is all just totally adorable! Love the pp's you used, your design & the great old photo!
What a funny story!!! Thank goodness the neighbor brought him back. LOL I can identify with this though. When my last brother was born I was utterly disgusted. I so wanted a little sister! Now that I'm older I realize it's way better to have brothers. They don't take your makeup and clothes. LOL Thanks for posting this page. I had a good giggle and it's absolutely beautiful!
That story is a CLASSIC!! lol! Love how you journalled it on that die cut pp, Michelle! The altered baby buggy looks wonderful!! And these pps are perfect for the baby theme! Adorable banner and such a cute title! Most of all, I love this photo of your dad and his sister...the blue punched mat around them is sooo pretty! FAVE!
Oh my, what a great story!!!! So funny and cute! I love the way you have laid out this page with the journaling underneath, and that photo is precious!!
Cute story and great lo. I have a similar story except kind of opposite. When my mom was going to the hospital to have me, my older brother, then 4 had had enough of my other brother, then 18 months. He had destroyed almost every toy in the home, and my oldest brother was not happy. He announced that if it was another boy to flush it down the toilet. He would only accept a girl. Thank goodness that is what he got.
That is to funny! I'm sure she was not happy when she saw they had brought him back!! Love the lo, the papers are beautiful and what a great photo! Great buggy!
I don't have any pics of my dad as a baby but used this photo of him with his sister, Margaret to tell a funny story about them when Dad was an infant. Journaling reads" Oh sure they're smiling now! When Nanny Paddick was pregant with her last child { my dad, Sid}, Aunt Margaret wanted a little sister sooooo bad! She already had two brothers and a third was unthinkable! She really thought this new baby was a girl and was disgusted when a neighbour informed her that she did indeed have another brother! Margaret was so upset. She promptly packed him up in his little pram , wheeled him up Circular Road and gave him away to a neighbour! Thankfully the neighbour brought him back!" True story! I used these sweet Baby Steps pps from Simple Stories for this LO. The buggy is a chippie piece from Riff Raff Designs..a Canadian company. TFL!
