My parents Wedding Photo
Journal: Marjorie (Margo) and Ralph Mehall
On their Wedding day Aug. 6, 1947
Margo met Ralph through his sister Delores. Delores worked as a secretary at Streator High School. Margo taught P.E. Delores invited Margo to her wedding to Richard Bee. Aunt Delores told me that they used to go our together as couples.
The Wedding was in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Danville, Il. Margo's two sisters were her bridesmaids. Ralph's brother Pete was his best man. Jo Yanek was a groomsman. The reception was held at Marjorie's parents home in Catlin, Il. They honeymooned in Wisconsin. (either Rhinelander or Hayward) I can't remember which. There they went horseback riding, swimming, and did archery.
