My dd Caitlyn and our little puppy Zoe the first day we brought her home from the humane society. We were suppose to get a Beagle that a family was trying to rehome but went to the humane society. Caitlyn fell in love with little Zoe and we couldn't tell her no. She was very sad when our old dog Hippo had to be put to sleep due to cancer and dearly missed having a dog in the house, as did the rest of the family.
