Butterflies were meant to be beautiful. And they always are with Tim Holtz Alterations dies and embossing folders for Sizzix. Every design delivers a vintage look that unleashes the unrestrained elements of altered art. Die-cut a Pocket Envelope from cardstock, fold along crease lines and trim away top and bottom flaps to form a tri-fold card. Emboss using the Cirque embossing folder. Lightly buff with a sanding block to highlight the raised designs. Ink the edges of the card. Die-cut the letters for the word "Fly" out of cardstock and patterned paper and adhere to the card front. Die-cut a butterfly out of patterned paper and attach to the card front. Embellish the card front with decorative metal accents. Attach paper buttons to the back of the card and attach twine for a closure. Decorate the inside of the card as desired.
