Give a Cheer
Last sunday I visited the annual Art Specially Event, the stamp & scrap exhibition in The Netherlands. There I bought the lovely Songbird collection of Prima Marketing. With their current sketch challenge I created this layout. First I stamped on the background paper with a large Donna Downey stamp, I used two colors, which I embossed after stamping. I fussycut the birds from the PP. Then I just started layering different pieces of paper from the collection. Each piece of paper is traced with a white pen to make it look as if I sew on it. I misted two Prima canvas pieces with blue perfect pearl mists. The titel is cut from PP from the collection as well. The off-white strips are masking tape, which are stuck on off white cardstock and then colored with Vintage photo distress ink. To finish my layout I used chipboard from the collection, some prima flowers and I rolled some 60 flowers in different sizes out of the PP. The photo is of my sister with her little babygirl.
