I recently joined ancestry.com and found a distant cousin who has the same great great grandparents...and she had this FABULOUS photo of them! I reprinted it twice, once to age/distress for the layout and the other to go behind this fabulous dusty attic door, which I aged with layers of crackle distress paint. This kit was so perfect for my great find. There is a pull out tab behind the door, which hides my journaling about finding my past...opening doors to my heritage.
FYI: The title was done with my Cricut and Gypsy...welding the capital letters from the HERITAGE cartridge with the cursive from, I Think, the Gypsy font cartridge, with a little kerning. I did a similar thing on my layout, "Heartfelt Words", as I love the Heritage for big letters that look old and a bit handwritten.
