Straight to faves!!! LOVE this! I totally love how you put the clouds out in the 'white space' on this and how you did the trees and how the large circle looks almost like a mountain or sunrise!!
That's quite a tool list, girlfriend! It's also a really cute layout. The little brown flowers look a TAD like little open pinecones (if you don't look TOO close), and the whole wilderness theme is right there, inviting you to come sit and smell the campfire. Wonderful project. I know you were stressing about getting it done, but you need not have worried. This is great!
S, you really outdid yourself on this one. It is wonderful. I love the photo...it makes me smile. You have challenged me to do more stitching. Yours is terrific.
I love Pepper!! Great photo. Love the paper choices, the car paper.you used on the bottom is perfect. great trees, well done with the circut. You pages are always beautiful.
That is a happy happy pup! He must be so excited waiting for his people's first grandchild! I love so much about this. The trees the rv border the stitching and the colors are all fantastic. I'm so happy I get to lift this!
fabulous!you bought a stack of sheets at a KOA? did i read that right? I love the story and the page. An enviable stash by the way. Congrats again on the upcoming birth!!
For the June Round Robbin Challenge: week 1. The challenge for the first week was to choose a new LO from the first 20 in the gallery at a particular time and lift it. I immediately saw this fabulous LO 'Daddy's Girl' by Trish (aka ChansGram) and knew I had to lift it: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/102488/view/3645545/-1.html This is also for the Scrap Your Pet, Cricut and Sewing Challenges.
Normally for Scrap Your Pet, I do pages of my two spoiled kitties, but this time I decided to give my parents' dog, Pepper a little spotlight. Pepper is a beagle, about 3 years old and he is a travelling dog. My parents have been retired together for about 2 years. In 2010, (before the ink was even dry on my dad's retirement paperwork! LOL) they purchased their first RV, a trailer. Then a year later, they upgraded to a 5th wheeler. Pepper has become the quintessential RV Dog. He gets very excited every time he sees them going out to the RV or packing things up. He's a very good traveller, sleeping most of the time and can hold his bladder longer than most dogs! He even gets his own 'dog run' in the back seat of my dad's truck and commandeers the couch in the RV for his own personal space. (He was very annoyed that he had to share these things with us last Fall when my DH and I joined them on a road trip!) This particular photo was taken at a rest stop in Butte, Montana during that road trip. I loove the look on his face - pure BLISS! (And yes, that's my dad in the bg!)
I cut the trees out using the CampOut cartridge and the title using BaseCamp. I also cut out an RV using GoingPlaces, but couldn't get it to fit on the page. (Maybe later...) I also used my pre-cut templates using the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge to trace the flower shapes onto a paper bag, cut them out, misted and crunched them.
All the papers here were from a stack of sheets I bought during that road trip at the KOA we stayed at in Rapid City, SD. Pepper is currently RVing in Valencia, CA as my parents await their first grandchild! TFL!
