Love the background paper & the way you did the lettering for the "on your little hands". She looks so adorable in the green salwar. Her mehndi came out beautiful too.
This picture is very dear to me...my li'l girl Saanvi was making her debut on stage in a school dance concert. Saanvi is a girly-girl unlike me and loves dressing up, especially in ethnic style. We had great fun sourcing jewelry and having a traditional costume made for her. All of 3 and a half years, she was a natural-born performer with grace and a flair for dancing. This was much to our surprise because I can barely shake a leg and find even aerobics classes at the local gym frustrating. My husband who happens to be an actor 'grins & bears it' because all Indian movies are musicals! Incidentally, the title Henna on your little hands refers to the beautiful designs painted on her palms for the show and I fussy-cut her hands to include them on the page. I made this page for three challenges - CSI#28, Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge and Prima - BAP July. TFL and your kind comments. My Blog - www.scrapbooksfromindia.com
