Journaling: It was a long wait for the faithful, but the first of September brought the return of Florida State football when the 'Noles hosted Murray State on Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium. Earlier that weekend, Bobby was inducted into the FSU Football Hall of Fame. We heartily agree with the choice. You have to love a game that begins with a punt returned for a touchdown -- thank you, Rashad Green. If I hadn’t been on the phone with Bright House trying to figure out how to tune in on ESPN3, I might have seen the play firsthand. Argh! In fact, we were up 14-0 by the time I got things sorted out. I can’t say I love watching the game on the computer, but it’s better than not watching at all. As expected, Murray State was out-manned and out-maneuvered. The final score was 69-3, and the only thing that might have made it better was a complete shutout. But I’m still a happy girl. 09.01.12
