I love the various angles of the photos and the fun journaling about his sense of humor. I also like that you softened the color palette and added the great embellies.
I love the various views of your Dad from the same chair! Pictures are so 2D and you can never get an accurate feel for the actual person...I like it. Your layers are beautiful! It all works so well.
Love your take on this! Your papers and colors work beautifully with those pics! Love the touches of green. I also really like those circles you added!
for RD 4 Gallery Inspiration. I was challenged to lift this beauty by CharlotteJ http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/47453/view/3666583/-1.html . One twist is to honor Ding-a-Ling Day, someone who wouldn't/doesn't mind stepping outside of the normal lines and enjoys being wacky which certainly describes my Dad. As the journaling says "He's the biggest goof & he passed it on to all 9 of us. Practical jokes? Silly costumes? Acting like a clown? He's the king of any wacky thing you can named. Thanks for being so fun." The photos are from this summer - probably the last summer he and my stepmom will be there - he's 91 and she is 85 and none of us live close by to help. And as usual lately this is for Hoarders - almost everything on here is at least 4 years old.
