The church my parents attend updates the church photo directory every couple of years - this year was an update year so I have this wonderful photo of my parents. They've been married 57 years.

The term harmony comes from a Greek verb which means, "to fit together." It's typically a word we know from music, and it happens when contrasted elements of musical notes - one higher, one lower - combine to make a sound that is fitted together in a perfect way. The notes may be different, but the music that they create along their separate melodies fits together in a beautiful way.

I can think of no other way to describe my parents 57 year relationship. They are very different people, my mom and my dad, but they complement one another in a way that fits together in a beautiful example of what a marriage should be.

This is my December Round Robin Group 1 kick off project. It's a lift of my double page layout "Through The Years." The papers are Kaisercraft and Glitz. The die-cut is by Sizzix, the wood clock is Prima, and the flowers are from the $1 bin at Michaels. The title is a Creative Imaginations sticker from a Swirlydoos kit from a couple of years ago.

Thanks for taking a peek at my project. I treasure your comments and suggestions.
