Oh yum and lol! I usually take a bit of the edge for taste-testing before I frost it and then just dip the edge in the leftover frosting. ;)

OK, so I couldn't wait for dh to get home from work to sing Happy Birthday and have him blow out his candle.....I had to have a taste. Oh it's a carrot cake (box mix ... some decadent something), but I made the cream cheese frosting from scratch and it is gooooooooooood.
