The background sheet looks great. Love the way you made the title. Did that bird actually run free? I remember a friend trying to feed on of them. The bird luckily was in a cage, because he went straight for her fingers!
You always put so much extras into your LOs. The texturing is wonderful and I am totally lifting the idea. I really like how you criss-crossed the title. The sanding of the embossed paper does give the paper a added dimension. I did that with the cruise intro pages. Well done!
JOURNALING: One of my favorite places was the Tower of London. We enjoyed our tour with the Yoeman guard and of course had to visit the Traitors Gate.

TECHNIQUE TIP: There were a couple of things I did to this layout to give it some more texture and dimension. I started out with two sheets of manilla background but decided that it looked too plain. I took my rhubarb ink and my Sanded stamp to create a texture on those two background sheets. The second thing was to cut my alpha from Tim Holtz' Coordination kraft core cardstock. I then embossed them with my Sizzix and then sanded them down to get the dots to show through.
