This month makes two years since my father passed away. He needed a liver and a kidney transplant due to PKD. He died of an infection from a ruptured cyst, so even though he was sick we did not expect him to die suddenly. I miss him so much, and I wish he could see all of the amazing things I am doing with my life. Whenever I see a butterfly, I think of him, because my dad was trapped because of his illness in a body that would not allow him to live the way he wanted, it was only in his passing that he was truly free.
